Here are some of the many questions I am frequently asked. (Why else would this be a FAQ?) These are about myself, Monster Rancher, and my site. Please, please, please, PLEASE read this before you e-mail me with questions you may want to ask about me. If I get an e-mail with a question that's answered here, I will just tell you to look at the FAQ page and then delete your e-mail. Sorry if it sounds mean, but I am sick of people asking me questions that are answered right here. It's like they just ignore this page. *Sigh* -_-

Q's about me (Mighty my, nosy, aren't we? ^^):

Q: Are you m or f (Male or female)?

A: *Sigh* Female. I don't know too many people who are male that use a female character's name online, but there are a few...anyway, as I said, female.

Q: How old are you?

A: 17

Q: Do you have a boyfriend?

A: Why do you care? =p No, as of now, I don't have a boyfriend.

Q: Can I be your boyfriend?

A: Er...sorry, no.

Q: Are you Japanese/Asian?

A: No, I am NOT Japanese or of any Asian ethnic. My best friend is Asian, but I am not Asian myself. Most of my background is of European descent.

Q: What kind of music/artists do you like?

A: Well, I HATE rap and stuff like Korn, but I like some American pop (Nothing offensive...), but my absolute favs are K-pop and J-pop. (That's Korean and Japanese pop music, in case you didn't know.) I also like folk Japanese and Celtic music, and some classical/instrumental stuff.

Q: What grade are you in?

A: 11th.

Q: Hi Holly.

A: *Sigh* Why do you guys call me this? It's Holly-chan, never Holly! If you don't feel like typing out Holly-chan, then please use H-c. I don't like being called Holly, even though she and Genki are my favorite anime characters. Don't ask. It's one of my "quirk-thingies" as I call them.

Q: How many websites have you made?
A: Too many to remember off the bat...but I really only maintain 2 or 3 of them, including this one.

Q: Are you Canadian?
A: No, I'm American
Q: But you say, "eh" sometimes....
A: Doesn't make me Canadian. "Eh" is usually my way of saying, "Huh/What?" when I'm confused, which is often. ^^;

Q: What's "baka/gomen" mean?
A: "Baka is" "Idiot/fool" in Japanese, and "gomen" is "sorry".

Q: Do you think Holly and Genki are a good couple?

A: Yes. Very much! Genki/Holly all the way! ^_^

Q: Do you think Genki and Pixie are a good couple?

A: NO. I like Genki, and I like Pixie, but I don't like them together.

Q: Why didn't Fox Family show the Gray Wolf and Naga episodes???

A: You're asking me? Well, Fox KIDS did show them a while back...

Q: Who is your favorite MR 2 monster?

A: Tiger! BLIZZARD! Heh heh. ^_^

Q: How do you get Moo in the MR games?

A: Game Shark??? Other than that, I have no clue.

Q: Who hosts your site?

A: Negative Ion

Q: What do you use to build your page?

A: Notepad, FrontPage, Paint Shop Pro 6, Animation Shop 2, and FTP Explorer.

Q: Do you know a lot of HTML?

A: Yeah, a fair amount. ^-^ I can't make a decent layout by myself to save my life though... XP;;;

Q: Can you help me with < something >?

A: It depends. What do you need help on?

Q: Can I take some of your pics and other stuff?

A: It depends on what you're talking about, so let me go through this:

What you can take WITH MY PERMISSION:

~ My fan art
~ My fanfiction
~ My adoption monsters (You can take these w/o permission, just tell me when you do, k?)

PLEASE, ask me first before you take stuff like this, and if you do, give me credit.

What you CAN NOT take AT ALL:

~ My logo
~ The images I made for certain pages
~ Certain info (i.e. My MR story page)

Sorry, but you can't take them. And if I catch anyone who does, you will be very, very, sorry.

Q: Can you make a button/banner link for my site?

A: Not now. My life is too busy right now to make extra stuff.

Q: Can I affiliate with you?

A: Yup, I have re-opened affiliates! ^__^ I'm only gonna allow 3-4 more sites though, so if you miss the 2nd chance, you can still join my network if you have an MR site, or you can send me your site's URL if it's not MR related, but is anime related. ^^

Q: How long has your site been around?

A: Two and a half years... wow, time flies...

Q: How do I save pics from your site to my computer?

A: I'll let you figure it out for yourself. ^o^

Q: How do you make your screenshots?

A: Well, I used to use a digital camera and take shots of the TV screen when it got to a part I want a shot of. I wouldn't suggest this, though. One, the camera stalls a second too long and you may miss the part you wanted to get and have to try another five, six, seven, or even more times before you get it. Two, the flash messes up the screenshot by making the middle too bright and the corners too dark. I now use a capture card for my screenshots. Capture cards are hardware for your computer that lets you watch TV on your computer, take screenshots, and make video clips. How the screenshots are made varies on the capture card. I myself use Win TV Go. Capture cards range from around 50 to around 200 USD. You can find them at Best Buy and other electronic supply stores.

Q: What happened to your full episode downloads?

A: When I upgraded my computer, I forgot to make backups of the episode files. Also, my program I use to make the full episodes/clips doesn't want to work, so I doubt you'll see any more full episodes. That and, well, obvious legal issues. Sorry. :(

Q: I like a couple other than ones you support, and I wrote a fanfic/drew a fan art for it. Can I still send it in?
A: Sure, as long as it's appropriate and follows the art rules. I think it would be unfair if I only allowed fan works of couples I supported. Variety makes life more interesting. Besides, it's possible to couple you support is also liked by someone else, and, who knows? You may make their day when they see your work of a couple they don't see too often. ^^
